The Accademia is the fourth most visited museum in Italy. It is considered Michelangelo’s museum and it displays 7 of his marble pieces. The nicest sculpture ever made by human hands is Mischelangelo’s David.

The museum also hosts more than 300 paintings in gothic, renaissance, and mannerism . There are also displayed 40 musical instruments, including Stradivari’s violin and the oldest piano by Bartolomeo Cristofori.
