Boboli Gardens Museum

Don't call them simple gardens, they are much more than the green lung of the city center, an authentic monumental park to be covered in at least three hours.

The Boboli Gardens is an open-air museum that embraces Palazzo Pitti, the last official residence of the Medic family.

The family used to host exhibitions, music venues, and many other enternating events. The garden has ancient species of oaks, roman and renaissance sculptures, amphitheaters, fountains, ponds and grottos.

Boboli is the first example of Italian style gardens where green architecture is intertwined with sculptures, inspiring many european royal gardens including Versailles.
