We couldn’t know the renaissance as we know it today without the Medici family.

They were patrons of the arts and they discovered the greatest artists of the renaissance: Donatello, Michelangelo, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci. Family of bankers since the 1400s, the Medici have ruled Florence for more than 300 years leaving us an immense heritage.
